The Source Of All Headaches.....

I have a head ache coming on. The source? My very over enthusiastic children. One might think they drank the coffee instead of me. I am sitting here attempting to type a blog. They are bouncing on the couch and destroying my living room, despite loud and increasingly desperate yells to "RELAX!".

I am really just joking about my children being the source of all my headaches. They really only account for about 95% of them. They are almost 2 and almost 4, both boys. I love them to pieces, but god help me sometimes they are like little monkeys hopped up on something. And that's without putting sugar or junk food into them. If I did that, I think I could start a sequel to "Apocalypse Now" right in my own house. Don't believe me? My Big Brown Eyed Boy is currently throwing himself around all over the couch like some sort of human pinball.

This is probably the fourth or fifth blog that I have started. I start one, throw myself right into, then forget to write and it becomes abandoned because I can't even remember how to access it. This is kind of my thing. I'm hoping that will change. I love reading blogs, so hopefully I will love writing one of my own. And although I don't live a glamorous or exciting life, maybe I can crack a few jokes and regal a few people with some stories.

Like how my Big Brown Eyed Boy is already trying to follow in Daddy's footsteps. Big Daddy is into computers, in a big way. He loves playing video games and computer games, and he also loves fixing computers. His dream job would be working as a technician. At any rate, he is forever tinkering around with his computer, installing this or that. Obviously Big Brown Eyed Boy has been watching and taking notes on this. Yesterday he reset the computer that he was watching a movie on (an older computer that we mostly use for movie viewing; it runs on a Linux OS). This was fine, but for whatever reason it wouldn't load back into the OS and appeared to be waiting for some command. I had no clue what to do, so I told him that the computer wasn't working anymore and he couldn't watch his movie. I went off into the kitchen to make supper, and I hear him talking to himself about "fixing the computer". I come back out to see what he is doing and discover that he is putting an install cd into the CD-ROM and typing random "commands" into the computer in an effort to "fix" it. He is so his father's son.

I just caught my Little Blue Eyed Boy with a piece of plastic in his mouth! When I tried to grab him to fish it out, he proceeded to run away giggling and made me chase him around the couch three times before I could nab him. I think Faeries are less mischievous then my children some days. Or maybe they switched my real children with Faerie children....that would explain SO much....
